Project Description

The San Diego NPR affiliate, KPBS, sought to revamp and establish a 21st century cross-platform newsroom. The tenant improvement design directive required that the multi disciplines of television, radio and web teams converge, be streamlined and re-invision the distribution of informational content of today’s and future platforms. The change surged after realizing that their methods of news distribution was not running as effortlessly following the introduction of social media and the ever changing quality of technology. The project includes; sound rooms, live television recording areas, administrative offices, open office areas, and open and private meeting spaces.
